From my DIY experience:
Timing belt: $260
Vacuum leaks: $3
so you could have saved yourself $1200 of that.

Wheel bearings: Do-able, but you'd need access to a press.

Oil pump replacement: Yikes...what happened? Why was this required? Sludge????????
MISC PARTS - $200? I hope you're not paying $200 for little nuts an bolts that they "mislocated". I'd run that list over with a fine toothed comb.

Good Luck with that.

ohh and here is the description for the induction cleaning services
Bring engine up to operating temperature (80 degrees
Celsius) or until after cooling fan cycles once.
Remove intake boot at throttle body, install induction nozzle
into throttle body and reinstall intake boot run engine at
approximately 1500 rpm's until canister Is empty. Remove
injection nozzle and reassemble boot check throttle body for
free movement and lube if necessary. Clean air flow meter,
mass air flow sensor or sensor plate as needed

And before i get flamed, yes i know, if i did it myself i would save a TON of money but i work and go to school full time.

i wont flame, alot of that stuff is just crap that if you dont have to mess oyu dont have too, but stuff like vac leak, just go to NAPA and buy some vac hoses for 50cents a foot and replace in that order, crankcase breather hose, do it yourslef its seriously pop hood remove reinstall close hood. updated diverter valve, be a man and get a loud one and put it on yourself, spark plugs, again easy DIY, right there theres a few hundred in parts and labour gone, rest of the stuff, you dont wanna spend hours doing.

Sorry, i wanted to post the actual invoice, but its a PDF but here is the exact break down.
Perform Engine Diagnostic Level II Testing: $125 free at Autozone or 20 bucks for a ebay vag cable
Perform synthetic oil change maintenance: $51.01 should only cost 30 bucks
Perform engine induction service & fuel system flush: 129.95 from the description it sounds like they seafoamed your car. should be 20 bucks
Replace crankcase breather hose: 195.80 $30 from ECS and about 20 minutes to install
Perform smoke test to search for possible intake systemleak: $93.75 didn't have to be done but even the gay shops around here only charge 40 for that
Remove and clean spark plugs (re-gap if applicable): $47.44 wow. $10 for plugs and all of 10 minutes to change them
Remove and re-seal oil cooler: $99.11 coulda DIY for free
Replace both oil cooler coolant hose: 129.86 the only fair price i've seen so far
Replace timing belt complete: $1074.00 ouch. you can usually get it done for 700
Replace right rear wheel bearing: $317.43 hahaha. seriously?
Install new updated diverter valve:$149.99 hahahahahahahaahahahahahaahahahhaaaa, what dv did they put in? and did you provide it or did they buy it?
Install new oil pump: $798.87

oh good god i feel bad for you... most of the **** on that list is a less than five minute job each... where are you located? next time you feel like flushing money down the toilet just call me and ill come and do all that for half price. the intake cleaner is the same concept as seafoam... its a little canister that has a gauge on it... same process as seafoam though.

Perform Engine Diagnostic Level II Testing: $125 probably just plugged into your obd2 and scanned for codes
Perform synthetic oil change maintenance: $51.01 probably only thing on here that would be considered normal charges
Perform engine induction service & fuel system flush: 129.95 $20 tops
Replace crankcase breather hose: 195.80 oh god
Perform smoke test to search for possible intake systemleak: $93.75 either exhaust probe or obd2 scan ($20)... (POSSIBLE leak?) bet they didnt find it and would take all of 10 minutes
Remove and clean spark plugs (re-gap if applicable): $47.44 Another 10 minute job
Remove and re-seal oil cooler: $99.11 probably unneccessary, but if so not too far off with pricing
Replace both oil cooler coolant hose: 129.86 another 15 minutes
Replace timing belt complete: $1074.00 pretty much standard pricing, but much cheaper to DIY
Replace right rear wheel bearing: $317.43 parts and labor add up to about that much, but again better to DIY
Install new updated diverter valve:$149.99 holy hell in a handbasket... less than 5 minute job and you could have a nice aftermarket dv for that
Install new oil pump: $798.87 not sure how much the oil pump cost but im sure parts and labor dont equal $800
