i had a rattling sound when driving at low speeds,i thought it was the cats,but today when i was messing with my tranny mounts i discovered it was actually a spashguard /heat shield, that is located on the propshaft right where the two cats meet.it had proke off on one side so i just removed it.
will removing it cause any problems?im sure it gets pretty hot right there with the two cats .it is made of aluminum,not like the regular flimsy heat shields.
