Feedback on prop shaft
Hi all,
I have a 2006 a6c6 3.2L Quattro coming to 90k miles. I think there's a prop shaft problem which might be causing some vibrations around 60-70 mph. From where I come from, no one else is driving the same model as its a rare model, so I can't get any kind of feedback. I have looked at the prop shaft at the workshop, and the only minor issue is the rubber surround of the centre bearing support has sunken a bit, which makes the shaft sunk a bit down from centre.
As this part costs quite a bit, I like to know if anybody else has had to change their prop shaft at around my kind of mileage, due to wear and tear. Thanks!
