well i was thinking about this the other day and i think that all of us a4 members on this forums should have an audiforums convention. we could get a bunch o ppl to set it all up and pick the setting and then pick a date(preferably in the summer). i mean i love my audi so much and im sure of all the other a4 members do also, i just think this would be a great way for us to meet and check out each others rides and possibly even race. tell what you guys think.

 

great idea but were would we hold it? east or west coast? were all so spread out. how bout in Grand rapids, MI sounds like a great place to me!!!

 

You will probably get much larger participation and attendance with a series of regional get togethers, perhaps all scheduled for the same day and linked by at least a very rudimentary videoconferencing system.

I have held one small work party get together at my house, and it was great fun and a wonderful chance to meet some of my on-line VW Passat pals.

Since I'm nonpartisan, and since the Passat is mechanically the Audi of the VW product line, I think we should consider a combined Passat - Audi get together.

 

i was thinking somewhere in the middle of the U.S. like Texas.

 

we could do a west coast convention and an east coast convention. hold two separate conventions.. and the hardcore kids could drive to both if they wanted to? but then central us is screwed.. ahha

Sounds like a plan I would love to participate in, but unfortunately for me I'm across the pond.
