Props to the A4
2 weeks ago I got a 2000 TT Quattro in "fair" condition. It sux paying insurance on both cars, but I chose to keep my A4 for now since the TT will be in and out of the shop over the next few months. I dropped the TT off at the shop last night, actually, so I had no choice but to drive the A4 in to work today...
My A4 is a 2.8 5-speed, 12v. To be honest, just before I got the TT I was ready to throw my A4 in the garbage. I've been driving it for 2 years now and I'm just tired of it. This morning after not driving it for 2 weeks... WOW..... I'm blown away at how smooth it is, how responsive the gas pedal is and about 10 other things about it.... The heated seats even seem to work better than the TT...
I just wanted to hop on the boards this morning and tell everyone how impressed I am with my 96 A4 that has 101,000 miles on it!!!

I still like it, don't get me wrong, but I like the A4 in a totally different way...
Kind of like a wife and a mistress
My A4 (wife) is always good to me, always comfortable and can cost a S&i# load of money at times. The TT is like my mistress... Quickies late at night when I'm supposed to be at home, riskey, unforgiving... ya know
