Default pulling front bumper, asking re:hidden probs

'00 avant quattro 1.8t tip. i need to pull the front bumper. i think when they did the timing belt, they didn't replace much in the way of supports. the bumper looks like its falling down, from the front. sad. its just pulling down from the lights and grill. anyway, earlier i reattached some supports behind the bumper in front of the radiator, but its sagging worse now. i think i have to pull the whole thing off to see what's there, what's not, etc. so, during my earlier quest neither the bentley manual nor the audi dealer diagrams showed the bolts i'm missing. as such, i'm just worried that there's more to this removal than shown in the manual. input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

take it back to the shop. if they can't put on the front end of an audi properly, they shouldn't be open

i agree, but the work was done before i bought it, back @ 80,000mi. don't know where it was done and i've had the car for about a year. no way to contact seller. i'm trying to stop further problems from developing.

i guess to do a full proper job, take the whole front end apart. just remember that the dirver's side bumper support only has 3 bolts instead of 4 on the passenger side.

nope. it's held on by those 2 bolts and it also has this sliding thingy on each side by the wheel. im talking bout the thing that the 6 mm bolts go into.

update: after breaking my socket and being unable to move the bumper at all, i concluded the problem is w/the outer layer of plastic not being attached and sliding down. i think someone pulled the plastic attachments out of their holes while pulling forward to pull off the bumper. anyway, i securely attached these points w/some hidden screws and speed nuts. looks and feels solid and is in the right place again. thanks again to all.
