Default Put a 6spd into a b5 quattro - a real noob here

Firstly love the work. Going to save me thousands on my budget and planning.
If this has been asked can someone paste the link for me.
Idon't have time to do a full search and my boss will have my ***** if he found out I was searching during work.
A bit of background, I've got a '03 A4 1.8T CVT FWD as my day driver. Talking to the Audi mech here in Perth (Australia) I was told that any mods on my B6will seriously screw up the CVT. Unfortunately there are only 6 certified mechs and one stealership in town (the dealership is useless with advise). So I decided to get a laterB5Quattro 1.8T as myproject (too manymodded japs here).
Is it possible to put a 6spd manual transmission into the B5 quattro?

I've always heard you can't. But anything can be done with enough time and money.

theoretically, all you would have to do is fabricate a bolt plate to attach the bell housing to the block, transmition mounts, custom length driveshaft (maybe) and an adapter for the shifter so that it goes through the right place into the cabin.
