So, how do you know if the N75 is working properly?. Could it cause misfires at all?

Your boost would be fucked up if it wasnt working right and youd probably go into limp mode. I dont think it could cause a misfire.

Does the stock N75 valve makes it more jerky during boost than the H/J valves? Specially if you down shift to around 3500rpm and try to wot?

ok..i plan on doing the diode/mbc mod this weekend....is there a benefit to removing the n75 entirely and running the mbc t-fitting in its place...and what about that electric sending unit....what would i do with it, and would it trip a cel...or should i run the mbc with the n75....

just a thought.....

if the h valve delayed the signal form the ecu it would delay opening and alowing air to the wastegate to open it. which in turn would cause you to spool faster. if it holds boost back till later it would have to hold the wastegate open and then close it then open it back up. that dosn't make much sense to me? But then agian maybe it does work that way, i dont know i dont use mine anymore so.

as far as removing the n75 for diode mod. you need to leave it plugged in otherwise you will get a cel. however i would recomend using some sort of boost controller other than the n75 that way you can keep it in safe limits. When i did the diode mod and kept the n75 i was boosting all over the place. anything from 8 to 18 psi was showing up and it was in no particular patern.

Any boost controller holds the wastegate shut while it bleeds of X amount of boost. You have a 5psi wastegate and have a mbc/ebc/n75and you have it set for 11psi. The boost controller holds the wastegate shut until it bleeds off the 6psi and then opens it enough to keep it at 11psi. But a mbc has a harder time than a ebc/n75 does at keeping that level constant. This is why you will get more spikes with a mbc (more so with a ball and spring than a bleed valve)than a ebc.
