Default Quattro front tires wearing outside edge only

My preowned 2000 Audi A4 1.8 Quattro has uneven tire wear. Front tires only. They quickly wear out on outer edge. Dealership said my premature uneven tire wear is normal?!

I'm not a guy, but that statement doesn't sound accurate to me. I don't drive my car hard. I had to get new tires after only 11,836 miles.

My A4 only shows wear on the outside front tires. The alignment has been repeatedly checked. Dealership said it is OK.

Has anybody had this same uneven tire wear (quattro or not?) Is it really normal, or did the dealership sell me a certified problem car?

Thanks.

its my understanding the quattro makes them wear more evenly... my dads benz has had the same problem since he had the front end aligned... it now wears out tires every 10-15 k... no one can get it right now

Low tire pressure wears the outsides of tire faster. Make sure you always have 35PSI of air in the tires.
