Quattro Launching????
^^^^Move to pm/ot.
Anyway I just went out and had some fun with launching. Managed to glaze my clutch once pretty nicely (oops!). I got it down pretty well, I keep my launching to a minimum on my stock clutch tho.

Whoa easy up on the launch there man haha. Dumping at 5k is a surefire way to say goodbye to your stock clutch!
From mike-2ptzero on audizine:
1. sit so you can push the pedal to the floor without using any ankle
2. set the clutch pedal to the friction point once you stage
3. bounce the rpms to spool the turbo up (3k on your k03)
4. go WOT at the bottom of the rpm swing and let the clutch out with one good knee movement right as you hit the set rpm you want to launch at

Am I on trck now or if I try this am I going to f something up?
just blip the throttle around 3000 3200 not all the way back down and up......... also with a chipped car the power do stay longer i feel power till the hard limit at 7200 but i wouldnt reccoment running it that high 6500 is good enough
if you want to learn, take what these guys told you and go check out some launching videos on google of a4's on the track. watch the rpm band and release. i know they are probably pushing more ponies, but it will give you a visualisation and a general idea of what is going on.
good luck! and dont beat on that clutch too much.. dont wana blow it
