Default Question about 2.8 V6 intake

Would I notice the benefit from an intake like this:

I am a 70% highway/30% city driver

power gains, yes. benefit, maybe not, considering you'll probably lose mpg

EDIT: the biggest difference you'll notice is the sound. it will be louder, and sound considerably better. but you'll only get about 5-8HP out of it, and you'll probably lose 1mpg or so

I dunno about that MPG thing though... I also have a 2002 Lancer (yeah i dont wanna hear the remarks on that) So I put an intake on it going with the theory of letting an engine breathe better helps with MPG... So i did. Instead of getting 28MPG it went up to 32MPG.. so would like to know if you do this intake document the MPG increase or decrease... it took a while after the intake was installed to get the difference though.. but that was on a different car.. hmm will be interesting to see

I bought an intake. I did it mainly for the very minimal performance gain and to drown out the small exhaust leak until my piping and **** for my new exhaust gets here.

It's not worth more than $50 bucks to me. I just got an ebay one fort 40.xx. Do not get a K&N, it's a waste because you can't "recharge" it correctly so you'll spend an extra $30 for a replacement everytime.
