Question About Audi a4 Catalytic Converter

Hey does anyone know if an Audi a4 2001 1.8t Catalytic Converter will fit on an Audi a4 1.8t 1998?

it will as long as the cars have the same engine code, i.e. awm, aeb... etc. I dont think they interchange from one engine code to another

those are 2 different engine codes but all b5's have the same cat. yes it will work
