A DV wont "raise the hp or torque" it's a valve you upgrade when you get chipped most of the time ecause the shitty rubber core on the stock one t ends to blow with the added boost after a while.

ok hp is like 210 tq is like 250 and thats crank, mileage is better if you stay off it actually but if your like me and cant seem to keep your fot out of it it will go down.... no its not bad for the engine at all, the chips are made to work well within the perameters of the engine's capabilitys.... 1/4 mile is in the 14's......... there is the rest of your answers i think
His is a 98 which means he has the 150 hp engine instead of the 170 hp engine that 2000-01 have, it will knock it up to around 190 hp with your engine and you gain 55-60 lb of torque. It's not a bad idea to get a new DV for the turbo and possibly a better air filter, I got ITG. I haven't checked my 0-60 or 1/4 yet, I don't think it would make 14's, low to mid 15's is my guess.
the 2000-2001 models are still only 150hp.. a new DV is REQUIRED. you're old one will break after a couple months of the stress. The gaiuns will still be over 200hp to the crank. if you want exact figures, go to GIAC's websites b/c people here obviously aren't veryb consistent. Also consider APR. Their chip allows for a more smooth, less choppy ride. www.goapr.com - they promis 206hp/245trq and it has been verified.

My 2001 does not have 150hp, not sure where you're getting that from? The 2001's have 170hp.

Also- we all know that the search is there but for a lot of us I don't think it works... For me it always times out and I'm using a DSL modem so it's not on my end.

Ok I very rarely get pissed at noob's, but you need to STFU. You ask the dumbest ****** questions. Use the ****** search function. People were nice enough to answer your stupid questions with no appreciation from you whatsoever. This **** has been answered millions of time.

I agree. Every post I read from this guy makes me think he's a friggin' impatient, pushy, lazy-***.
