BTW, i would just get a decent ebay intercooler kit with prebent pipes ($400) and if/when you go BT, you can just swap the ic if needed.

 

ive always been weary of the ebay intercoolers... say u just buy a core wouldnt it be a pita to find the proper mounts and hoses... mounts especially though?

 

making your own kit is easy but the problem is that you dont want to many connections. the fewer the better. Soa kit from a dealer or ebay (w/ prebent pipes) will flow better and work better than one that has 10+ connections which are also greater chances to blow off.

 

i bought this one off ebay, it fits pretty good and works fine, the only thing is you gotta cut the reinforcement a little, and the l shaped bracket need a twist on them to line up with the radiator mount bolts. Pretty easy fix with a pair of pliers.Good product for the money, i paid $290, ill post pics of finished product soon.

 

most kits your gonna have to modify the crash bar

 

so what would a good mod be instead of the hosing and crank pulley? anything besides just saving for the BT?

 

just get w/m injection. it will give you good power now and be great with any turbo.

 

wheres a good place to buy that kit?
