I'm badly in need of of the moldings on the bottom of the doors of my 99 A4. There seems to be a steel piece within the rubber molding and it has rusted in several spots and will not stick to the plastic molding tabs. Where is the best place on line to purchase these four moldings? I'd rather not have to go to the dealership ($$$) unless I absolutely have to. Can any of you fellow forum members help this newbie out? Thanks in advance!

These things are always rusting out. I just got all four at the dealership and replaced them all. I beleive they were about 40 -45 bucks apeice.

 

ECS tuning has them for about 22 dollars each.

So nice of you to reply on my dilema. I should have known that it was going to cost me an arm and a leg, what doesn't on these cars! I shouldn't complain, there's not a spot of rust on the entire body and it makes me wonder how long before that nonsense starts. It's got 94k on it now and runs like the day I bought it with 33k. Thanks once again, at least I know what I'm looking at here.

Ya, I had to replace mine for the same reason and the dealerships charged me 150 for all for pieces
