Default Question for hardwire V1

All,

I was follow a write up to hardwire my V1. The power is connected to one of the fuses in the fuse box (fuse #25 - heater blower). According to the write up, it should be a "switched" power but apperently not in my case. The V1 works fine but it stays on even I switched the car off.

I don't mind to switch the V1 on and off everytime I start the engine, but here is my question: will it damage my V1 if I connects to a continues feed power source? My car is 2004 A4 3.0Q (B6).

Thanks for your input.

Im sure that it wont hurt it.... But why not just switch to a different fuse?
