Whats the difference between a 4CY and 20V A4? I'm a bit new to audi's and everytime I look for parts it asks which model type? Also, is one better than the other?

 

You have a 4 cylinder engine with 20 valves.

 

5 valves per cyl.

 

i think he might be talking about a different 20v which is the older S4 and like 200tq motor its a 2.2l 20v 5cyl that has the potential to make a **** ton of power and they sound cool as hell, where the newer 4cyl is only a 1.8l 20v motor with no so much power or potential
