Hey everyone, have some questions on the symphony sound system.

I have a 2004 1.8T Quattro and i have no idea what the layout for the speakers are. I know about the stock sub in the trunk, which sounds like a whisper, and i know the locations of all the speakers, but i have no idea what the sizes are and all the wattage. Any input on this subject would help out a lot..... let me know.[sm=dontgetit.gif][sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

Im not sure on the new audis but on my 97 its 4" componets in the front doors 6 3/4" coaxils in the rear deck and 2 jl audio subs in the back

 

Wait?? Yours came stock with 2 JL subs in the trunk??? Damn..thats prty nice....what size are the tweeters in the coaxils...cause ive been looking for them but no one in my area knows......

If I had a couple of bucks, I will like to do the Car PC project to my car. I think it will not go over $1,000 (including touch screen), but I don't have time now and neither the money... [&:]

 

If you want more info on the carputer idea, PM brrman. He did one in his '98 and is now dong it again in an Avant.

 

the 2 JL subs do not come stock FezA4.

Thanks a lot everyone...helped a lot....if anyone does find the correct sizes...jus holler them out... lookin to buy Pioneer Premier four-ways, but im being told by freinds that i should jus get the component speakers that are stock. Im also looking at the new Pioneer Premier 2000 watt subwoofer...Any Input????[sm=thanx.gif][sm=thanx.gif]

 

There's some conflicting sizes going on one company says 5" in the front doors or 6.5". I'm going to say 5.25" if you are lucky and you can work some wonder with wood (mdf), 6.5s but that's pushing it..
