I know i ultimatly decide what im gonna buy but i was wondering what u guys would do. I am looking at getting ride of my car around xmas and heres what im thinking. A s4, a 1.8T like mine just a different engine and maybe xenons if i can find them (what year did they become an option for the 1.8T) or get another car thats not an audi thats more moddable than my car and has alot of potenntial like a WRX or SRT-4 type car.

 

How could you go past an S4. They cost about $56,000 (thats for a 2001 model). I would definitely go that cos you can mod the sh.it out of it, if you wanted too.

I'd go for an S4, or if not that, then go Japanese turbo nutter mobile. Evo, Scooby, Supra, suymmit like that!

So just to be clear, in an audi forum, you want to know if you should get a non-audi, or an a4 1.8t (which you already own), or an s4? hmmmm....lemme think :P

 

Well if he is aiming for an S4, then he should get that, however, a 1.8T will be a tad dissappointing compared to S4, thus he could consider something else in the performance range of an S4. Just because this is an Audi forum, it doesn't mean we have to be totally blinkered!

depends on what you are looking for. no matter how much money you put in a EVO or STi, they will never have the refinement found an S4. If you wanna go fast, EVO is the best way to get there. Add 2 grand to it and you will be in mid 11 quarter mile times.
