Quick Oil question
Hey all,
So, looking at the poll here ( https://www.audiforums.com/tm.asp?m=6101) I noticed that someone mentioned Royal Purple as the top-of-the-line synthetic. the question is, which grade would you recommend for a 2000 A4 1.8T (with over 75k miles), and what are the main differences in the oil grades?
Multi-Grade Oils: 5W20, 5W30, 10W30, 10W40, 15W40, 20W50
thanks guys!

RE: Quick Oil question
Well, I started the poll, wanted to see how many here used it. I use Purple 5W 30, though in the summer I know several that run 10W 40 in the 1.8T. Basically the first number is the cold viscosity, or what it will be on a cold start, and the second is the viscosity of the oil at temp. Excellent oil, expensive, but worth it IMHO.
