Default Quick Question....

I have a 1997 a4 i dont have the switch blade pod. Was wondering if this model was standard keyless entry ? Where can i look to know or not ? thanks in advance.

Yes it was standard. You should be able to buy an uncut key fob from ebay. Look for the ones with the FCC ID of MZ2 410 819 6 4

If you do a seach for key programming there are a couple of detailed instructions on how to do it. Piece of cake.

most of the key fobs from the big sellers on ebay have instructions included.
