When i bought my audi just 2 days ago, the guy said he has a K&N filter in the trunk, he took it out. SHOULD i put it back in? or is there a reason to why he took it out? all i know is that its K&N.

 

I liked mine gave it a bit more power, just be careful when cleaning and reoiling too much oil can mess with your maf

 

Short an simple some peeps have probs with K&N leaking oil on maf then they have to clean it... some dont run into probs at all...From my experince with one I did sooo..... bro do some searching because seriouly this has been covered just as many times as when someone brings up a BOV or a chip... if you just type in K&N in the seach youll get sooooo many answers and then you can decide for yourself if you want to put it back in or not.

i have had one for about 10k on my car, and no probs yet. It does make the car engine a little louder, which I dont really care about and the gains are hardly noticeable if any. The only reason I still have it is bc I broke my airbox when I slung it across the garage in a fury....lol.
