Does anyone know why some of the B7s have a solid plastic backing around the fog lights while others are partially open? I apologize for the stupid thread, but I can't find answers anywhere else.

Just a guess, but I would assume that the 2.0T needs air to pass through for the intercooler, while the 3.2 would have solid plastic for a cleaner look. Purely speculative, but thats my .02

Thanks, I appreciate your .02. I thoughtthe same thing at first too...I've got a 3.2 with the solid backing, but I've seen others like mine that don't??? Do you know if it's easy to remove/replace?
