Default Quick question

Ok I'll make this quick. I did a little search but couldn't find what I was looking for, and don't have the time to keep digging...

But whats the difference in a MAF and its engine code http://ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/page...mp;engine=1.8T

Like the AWM, AEB, and ATW.... also why are those all soo different in price? I need a new MAF for my 2001 1.8t a4... which one should I get

THANKS TO ANYONE WHO RESPONDS ASAP

You might call ecs and ask, because they may need a VIN to match up the correct MAF.

looks to me like your car must have one of those 3 engine codes, onceyou know which one it isthen you match it up with the vin number, i think you get like only 2 maf sensors to choose from then. not sure. call or emailthe company?

2001's are AWM if I'm right.
You've got variable valve timing... so yeah, AWM for sure.
If you want to double check, take 30 seconds and pop off the plastic engine cover and look at the tabs on the cylinder head. You'll see it etched into one of the tabs... You're going to be looking for the letters A... W... and M right beside each other.

EDIT: Just checked the link... and it appears I am the bearer of good news. Yay!
