i recently bought a 2002 a4 1.8t and i noticed some of the audi's dont have hid equippped headlights, like mine. So i was looking for bulbs that will make the headlights brighter and im not sure if the type i need is called H7?, if any1 could tell me what kind of bulbs i need it would be greatly appreciated.

 

i believe it was an option. at least you have alot of options with h7's. silvania silverstars are pretty good...maybe even some PIAA's.

 

so i do use the H7 bulbs???

 

Visionbulbs.com - just do a full HID 6000k conversion kit $200- Plug it in and go - just have to mount the ballast. Thats it. or get the silverstars for $80

H7 lows
H7 Highs
If you went HID you would only replace the lows with the kit and most likely never use the highs

 

Where is the best place to mount the ballasts?

 

mount them in the fender next to the headlight mounts he's right you never have to use brights. you can get silverstar that's what i use before i had them in the fog lights also.then i upgraded i got mine of ebay.

 

the silver stars on ebay are around 30-40 bux
