Default quick question (pc-16 upgrade)

soo i'm runnin a k04 with GIAC software and i wanna upgrade to the pc-16 file.

so i went to giacusa.com and found what all i need [ul][*]FMIC that will keep IAT's below 50 degrees Celsius.[*]3 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator.[*]31 lb \"red top\" Bosch Motorsport injectors.[*]02 sensor with less than 50,000 miles on it.[*]Spark plugs with less than 10,000 miles on them.[*]Fuel Filter with less than 50,000 miles on it.[*]A clean Air Filter. [/ul] here's what i want, and tell me if this will work with that file.

- Greddy FMIC
- Bosch TT225 Injectors
- ECS tuning Ajustable Fuel Pressure Regulater (1.7 -> 5.4 bar)
or Bosch OEM 4.0 bar fuel pressure regulator
- Greddy G2S exhaust
- EC Tuning TestPipe
- EVOMS intake

just spend some time searching, and asking guys about thier setups

there is no set parts that should be used, there is alot of tiral and error due to differnt climates, and pc-16 is a very picky setup, and dosent really like cold weather

you also need to put alot of thought into the spark plugs

the 4 bar FPR is the stock one for our cars. Generally they recomond a 5 bar for the basic K04 profile and a 3Bar for the pc-16 or equivlents. I would get the adjustable one.

if all you really need is a new clean filter, then just get a K&N or something. I do not like my evoms cai only because it doesnt do anything, it only makes the car sound louder. and for almost $300, it is not worth it. plus the installation help they give you is a POS. i can go on and on

that is only if the K&N filter is really over oiled. you can probably see if it is too oiled. but i dont know, i never bought a K&N panel filter so they could be over oiled. i bought a K&N cone filter for my evoms cai and it wasnt oiled at all. so... tough decision

i know some other people have K&N dropins, so maybe they can comment on them?????

alright sounds good. just make sure that if you buy a cone filter, it is oiled, or you oil it.
