Default Quick Transmission Question

I am thinking about changing the fluid in my automatic tranny on my 97 1.8t A4... But I am a little confused as how much quarts of fluid I need to put back in there. I tried searching but some posts say 14-15 and some say 4-5... I don't know, does anyone know how many I need, any advice? Thanks!

Default RE: Quick Transmission Question

If you are just draining the fluid in the pan it is about 3 quarts.

It is a PIA to get the level right when refilling. As with any drain, make sure you can open the fill hole, before you drain the fluid out.
