Default Radiator Flush

I'm going to flush the radiator in my 1996 A4 soon. Do you have to bleed air out after filling with G12 and if so from where? Thanks...

how many miles are on the car? cause my dad was telling me that if your car is older and has some miles on it... it might not be the greatest thing to do unless REALLY Needed. its hard to explain but mab i can by givin an analogy. its like an old cespool. the wastes from ur house fill up this pool and basically hold the sides of the walls and stuff up... if u drain it out totally u can run the chance of having the pool collaps. that iisnt really that great but what im saying is if the car doesnt have any coolant leaks right now... if drained it can cause problems while empty...

Thats what my dad told me and i pretty much trust him since he used to build cars from the ground up =]

That is not true for cooling systems. They must be clean to work properly.
The water needs clean antifreeze for its lubrication.

108,500 miles. The expansion tank has a small leak on the top.I am going to replace it, so I thought I would go ahead and flush it and add the G12 plus...

No you wont have to bleed air, just run the engine with the cap off and add G12 as needed.
