RADIO DISPLAYS"SAFE" PLEASE HELPPPPP
OK I STOPPED AT A LIGHT LIKE NORMALLY AND THE CAR WAS WHEN IT DROPPED TO SECOND GEAR IT HAD A ROUGH TIME GOING TO FIRST SO CHECK ENGINE POPED UP. I CAME HOME I THOUGHT IT WAS FROM THE BOV OR MY GAS CAP WHICH WASNT TIGHTNED LIKE IT WAS SPOSSED TO. ANYWAYS I TOOK THE BLACK WIRE FROM THE BATTERY OFF FOR ABOUT 30 SECS THEN PUT IT BACK NOW MY AUTO DOWN ANDUP WINDOW IS OUT AND RAIDO DISPLAYS SAFE. PLEASE HELPP
i think your caps key is stuck.
Do you have a manual? have you tried reading it?
Do you know where the search button is? Have you tried pushing it?
i'll tell you the windows solution b/c i know it off hand.. i think. hold the button until the window goes all the way down. once all the way down, release the button, and then push it. auto-up/down should be re-enabled. not sure if that is acutally it, but i think it's right.

I did mine last week. This is what I did...smart thinking...I called the Audi dealer, told them I was from Johns Automotive (where I bought the car last year) and that we got a car off lease from them and the batt died and the radio code card was missing. She gladly gave me the code in 3 seconds, for free.
