Ok so my buddy has a 98 or 99 A4 and the CD player suddenly stopped working. So idk what he did but now the display on the radio says "SAFE" and cant play CD's or listen to the radio or anything anyone no how to fix this?

 

You'll have to get the code. Call a few dealers to see if they'll
look up the code for you. Ask what they charge for the service.
