whats up guys i have a 1998 a4 and recently i disconnected the battery and locked up my radio. well i went on here did a few searches and found out what to do about it but the only problem is that the codes provided in my audi manual wont unlock my radio. it says the code is 0082 but ive tried that about 10 times. ive also looked in the trunk of my car and tried a few 4 digit codes there an they didnt work eathier. last but not least i ripped the friggin stereo out completly in hopes that the code would be located on the back of the unit or something. Since i got the car used maybe its a different manual or a different radio than what i was susposed to get. My question to you guys is where exactly is the code in the spare tire well located, thiers like 50 numbers on there? and also is there a way to get the code off the radio unit itself? if you enter the code incorrectly too many times the radio will lock permanantly
