One night I happened to catch an MTV show about Rallying. I know- MTV and cars = silly. However, I did some more research and found out about the AKA Rally that was filmed that takes place every year. (www.akarally.com). I was just wondering if any of you guys ever rallied before, or whether you heard of any rally type events specific to Audis because I really wanna get out there this summer and meet some fellow drivers.

 

well the aka rally is a watered down version of the gumball 3000 rally....

i suggest you download the mischeif gumball 3000 on kazaa or ares

do a search on google or something for car clubs in your area Im sure theres a few they usualy have all different types of drivin events

Def see the gumball 3000 video. Rallying is made fun but very expensive. To register into the gumball 3000 its like $5000 or some insane amount of money, and i heard of guys getting upwards of 12 tickets a rally, so if you can afford it, do it. I dont think the aka rally is expensive, only if u get pulled over. (damn insurance rates)

 

Yeah, the insurance rates is a very good point. I still have to wait until I am 18 before I can even enter. I would probably start with the AKA because of cost and the fact that its not as serious as the others.

damn its that much for the aka?... well comparing to the gumball 3000 thats good, i would never do the gumball 3000 bc i could never catch up to the cars they use, the aka is def mroe my type.
