ok thanks for ur help ill have it checked out hopefully it is the cats or the exhaust so i can get it fixed finally.

 

I have an annoying rattle that i THOUGHT was coming from underneath the car. Turns out, it comes from the under-seat storage bin on the driver's side. If I reach underneath it while driving and press on the metallic underside of the bin, the rattling noise stops. Now how to permanently stop this.... Haven't really tried anything since it just started two weeks ago.

 

Does your skid plate have all the screws in it? When I got my a4, there was only 4 screws holding that thing on and it did the same thing as you are describing and once I got all the screws....noise gone.

If that cat was blown out, would you feel that.....performance wise?
