Default Rear ABS sensor differences...

So I ordered a new ABS sensor from ECS for the rear of my 96. I specified my 12v and Quattro in their online catalog. Too bad on audiworld i found a different part number for the quattro than I got. The part number I got was: 8D0 927 807 C however on Audiworld I found: 96-98 8AO 927 807C

Ugh....

Anyone have any advice? Anyone think they're the same?

Call ECS tuning and ask them.

8D0 927 807 is a front wheel sensor.
8AO 927 807C = rear wheel sensor

Id trust ECS, they know what they are doing and if the part # was wrong they'd probably know about it by now.

yes I went to the expense of buying alldata so I could understand what you were talking about without confusing it with euro data, interesting though but not as good as autodata by any stretch of the imagination

Well it turns out the ring is damaged and the sensor was probably fine. Due to rust part of the sensor ring was chipped. Either way its probably too much effort for me to fix so I'm going to live with no ABS.
