Not sure if this thread is in the right spot (possibly belongs in the exhaust section?)......if so, mods can feel free to move.

I've searched around but haven't been able to find anything.............I have a 98 A4 2.8l quattro and I want to get rid of the cats, so I need to find something to do with the rear o2 sensors.

Thoughts? Does anyone know where I can get o2 simulators? Or, does anyone know the spec/range so that I can put a resistor in?

simulators do not work. You can try using spark plug spacers to move the 02 sensor out of the exhuast flow. Just do a search for this mod on a A4 1.8t and you should get plenty of results, you can also do a search for this mod on a S4 2.7.

 

Thanls..........I'll do some homework on the spacers. How well do they work/reliable are they? Do they hold the CEL off, or are they finicky?
