ok so i changed one of my calipers yesterday. everything was going find untill i got to the part where the brake cable goes through the hole and is held there by a C clip loking thing.just called the stealership and they said i would have to buy the cable and it comes with the clip. freaking 68 bux. i'm not paying 68 bux for that $hit. anybody know of a place i can get one of those clips or if i can drive without one?

 

Just make one, you only need a C clip. Take the other one off and go to lowes or home depot and rummage through thier hardware and see what you can modify to work.
