Well I was just recently pulled over by a wonderful New Jersey police officer. He gave me a ticket for one of my rear tail lights being out, but it actually wasnt, because he didnt realize that when you have your fog lights on there is a button to have a bright light on the rear left side to let people know that your fog lights are on. Is this anywhere in writing so I can print it out, take it to court with me and shove it in this cops face?

the owners manual says it
i think u can go to the audi dealer and have them write u something up

but u shouldnt really use ur rear fog light unless its foggy

 

yeah go to the dealer or show the judge the ******* manual.

 

Just get a write up from Audi or take the manuel to court. you should get out of it becasue theres nothin wrong

 

Best bet would have been to explain it to the cop right off the bat. You may be able to contact the officer to straighten things up before you wind up in court.

 

yea, why didnt you just show the cop the fog light button and explain it to him?

You should have turned it off and walked to the back of the car saying "I can't see the difference." LOL
