Rear Foglight Why Only Left Side?
I knew it was supposed to only be on one side, but I drilled the cover thing off the other side and use both, I keep them on most of the time. I've actually gotten a ticket for it when I only had one.
I told the cop it was a rear foglight and was factory installed to have only one light up. He didn't believe me and told me I shouldn't be using it on the street like that and issued a "maintenence of lamps" summons.

i asked my mechanic about this a few months ago, and he said its similar to many european cars that have a brighter taillight on the lefthand side. it makes a little sense...
the taillight bulb harness already has a spot for the bulb on the other side, you just have to drill out the housing on the back..it's easy to do and a very effective way to brake check people without actually endangering yourself
and guys, you really shouldn't have your rear fogs on unless you're driving through some extreme fog. ESPECIALLY if you do the dual rear fog conversion

Nah, i didn't bother fighting it, I had other things more important to worry about around that time. It was a $54 fine.
