the window tint guy popped off the rear view miror from the part that attaches to the window. It looks like a ball joint. it looks like it should just pop in but i'm afraid of breaking the windshield.

what is the proper way to attach the mirror?

 

sounds like it should just pop in. have you tried? you'd have to push pretty damn hard to break the windshield
