Hi all, this question has probably floated in and out thousands of times but why did you go for the A4?

Here's my reasons:
A2 - 60+ women
A3 - 20+ women
A6 - not too sure on that one - toying with the idea they really wanted a BMW but didn't have the readies
A8 - old timers
TT - guys with no imagination

A4 - guys with understated style

Or am I talking bollocks?

You're talking bollocks!! Audi did a superb job in the building of all its models A2 thru Q7, not catering to a specific gender or age group. That being said, we all have our particulars in the models we chose depending on our budgets. I chose the A4 because I was very impressed with its design, its clean interior, driveability and its quattro system all of which compliments each car that Audi builds. Hell, senior citizens drive TT's big here in Germany. But I will agree with ya on one thing: AUDI built for guys/girls regardless of age with great imagination, impeccable taste, and understated style!!

 

I didn't mean Audi built types for types. And I agree with much of what you said. It was a lighthearted thread, but I do think there is an element of truth in it - just from the people I've seen driving Audis. But I've never seen a senior citizen in a TT. A Golf yes, but a TT never.

 

I chose my Audi because it is a sexy bitch like me.

 

Here in Europe its not unusual to see seniors driving TTs on Sunday drives. I addressed your post based on your reasons listed, no harm intended. Welcome to the Forums!

 

def. talking bollocks, the A8 is for ballers, you need some major paper to drive one of those, it's hotter and more expensive thant the 7 series but with all the luxuries of a Benz

 

Audi's are for people who want to drive a great piece of engineering, but don't want to throw themselves in with the posers who drive bimmers and benzes (not that they are all posers, but enough are to create the stigma).

For me, the kickers were:
- quattro (four wheels rock!)
- 6 speed
- precise engineering
- styling

 

My man...one reason: REAR SEAT FOLD DOWN! lol prom was great...lol
