i just want about 300. even 290 would be good.

i'd even settle for 250.

i was planning on getting a down pipe and get an exhaust and make it 3" all the way. since it would help the turbos spool better right? which would increase hp.

i read about getting a chip and such, i don't want to buy a chip yet or any aftermarket parts since i'm still learning about these cars.i want to make sure i'm buying legit things that will help me reach my goal.

if you'd settle for 250 then a k04 would be good. with the k04, frontmount, chip, dv, and exhaust you'll be right there!

yeah, at the crank, not to the wheels. He said he wants 250-300 awhp he's gonna need a much bigger turbo than a k04 to do that.
(and a much fatter wallet by the way)

If you want those numbers and not to spend to much money, a t3t4 50trim .48 will get you 300awhp+ easy and still have room to grow. You can get a full kit for around $3k with tuning and fueling included. The best part about a 50trim is you can do 350whp easy on stock internals and still have the potential to reach 400whp.

know that i have a 98 1.8T FWD. it's not a quattro.

23psi should get you close with a good tune and the tq will be around 300 which is plenty safe for the stock rods
