Hello All,

I am new to this forum. We currently have a 2004 A4 1.8T Quattro that my wife drives and I am looking at buying a 1996 A4 2.8 Quattro with 126,000 miles for myself. We just moved to the Boston area (Waltham, MA) and I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good Audi repair shop that I can have the 96 car checked out at before I buy it and basically use them for future repairs.

Also if anyone has any list of items to watch for when buying a 96 A4 it would be of great help. The car that I am looking at buying seems to be in good shape although I have yet to drive it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

As I mentioned I am looking to buy an A4 Quattro (1.8T or 2.8) for no more than $5000 (96-97), so if there is anyone out there that has anything available, please contact me.

 

There is a shop in Braintree MA.. "Braintree Foreign Car" Right on route 53 going towards Quincy right on the Weymouth line. I live In Washington State. But I bought my car over there (96 as well) they had pretty decent service and knew what they were talking about Best of luck to you!!

 

i am form the boston area. there are a few recomended shops. go here and do a search bag (boston audi group)

Wayland Auto, they specialize in Saabs(I bought one from them a few years ago), BMW, Audi, Benz. Its a gas station with many nice forgein cars in the lot, and a few garage bays. Wayland is, and is next to some of the most wealthy towns in Ma, so there are always high end cars in their garages.
