Red Fluid in Air Box. Help?
I have the same problem (starting after gas fillup. Never any other time). While you will see lots of threads on this, none with solutions. Many of them involve me and someone else saying "Let me know what it is if you find out". Most likely it is the purge valve. If you have a full vagcom you can check the system and see if the valve is clicking. Alternatively, with the engine running, if you know a nurse with a cheap stethescope you should be albe to put it on the valve and hear it clicking. If not then the valve is likely gone.
Clicking however, doesn't always mean that it is opening

3) Bad MAF - The most expensive, therefore most likely, problem. Not sure from what I've read, though, whether this would cause all of these codes to be thrown or just the P0455 / P1136 codes.

Is it possible to have a high performance filter which goes into the stock air box? I just thought there were intake's/cold air intakes.
