Has anyone replaced their rear lights with the "original" European lamp assembly? I want the yellow blinkers but before I just get a set from a German dealer and ship them back to the US I want to be sure that they'll fit and work properly.

I've noticed that on the Euro version the yellow blinker seems to be in a different position than it's US cousin. On the US version it seems the entire rear lamp blinks red while on the Euro version only the center blinks yellow while the red brake lamps remain steady.

Is it possible to replace the US rear lamps with the Euro rear lamps?

 

Does no one know about this? Can I swap the US rear light assembly with a Euro rear light assembly?
