Where is German Autoworks? I'm in LA...I'm trying to find a place around here...Hey would the leak in my head gasket effect performance?

 

Heh long ways off im in north texas... But yea you dont change it your exhaust will def blow smoke out your exhaust causing cat damage. The worse it gets the more your performance level is going down not to mention your car is going to look like a big POS going down the street blowing piles of smoke out your tailpipe.

 

haha i'm not blowing smoke yet...And I actually hope that its not the actual head gasket and that the guy at EZ lube just didn't know what he was talking about...I'm trying to find somewhere cheap around here that will do the work cuz I'm not trying to pay an Arm, Leg and Toes to get it fixed...I was just about to buy my rims too...ITS ALWAYS SOMETHING!!!!

 

yep i was driving down the road yesterday and i came up to the stoplight and some guy flagged me down he tunes porscha's and bmw's he gave me his card and stuff so im going by there and see whats up he said he'd do my tint for 100 bucks so im stoked. Def always some BS thing happens right before you buy what you really want.

 

head gasket job on a 1.8 is not really all that hard.

 

Next time you move the car check to see waht color the drops look like. ATF is redish, Mobil will be tan/clear depending on miles.

I dont think so, its clear to brown color best thing to do is just crawl underneath and have a look

 

carefull, it can be leaking stering rack or something. In mine Stering rack is leaking so it looks like tranny leaking. also I did a head gasket change, peace of cake, need a special tool and an extra pair of hands.
