talk about a loss in perfomance. I had 20's on my A4 and and felt a major loss of performance. not as bad as you would probably think but still noticable. this is before I blew my engine over the weekend btw. so before you all yet at me for putting 20's on an a4, just remember the only time these wheels will be rollong is when i'm pushing my car down driveway

Tom, yeah, especially on stock brakes... a heavier wheels spinning god knows how fast takes a lot more work to slow down, so yeah, you might not notice stopping distances right away, but they should definately fade faster. Meh, porsche brakes will be more than you could need, I bet

I'll just lay low for now... then, 9 years from now, when im an MD... I'll have porsche brakes. On my 911 Turbo.

speaking of cheap tires, i bought a set of 4 235/40/18 nankang's on ebay for $370.00 shipped

performance of these tires is terrible in cold weather, and they dont get sticky when its warm out until you have pushed on
them a little to get them warmed up then they a just ok. but for the price of less than 2 continental tires that wear out in 15-20k
miles i'll takem.

i have a set of these tires on my old acura cl with about 25k miles and have about 50% of life still to go

Hmmmm, tell me about tires! I just bought 4 Continental SuperContact2 $950.00 at the tire rack, the cheapest i found them locally was for $1,200. But it's all worth it! Baby got new shoes!
