Default Remote Mount Turbo

One of my friends is super into modding cars and told me about this. its a really cool idea and a great new technology. looks like they will be comming out with it for the BMW. We need to get them to make it for an Audi. those of you who want your car to be a "sleeper", this is perfect. and they say over 50%hp gains.

LOL... no we do not need them to make anything for Audi.... God forbid....
That system is designed for vehicles that are not turbocharged to begin with. They add a turbo to a car that doesn't have a turbo.
It is not as simple as the websites claims either... Most of their products require upgraded internals, additional cooling and exhaust.

Companies already have these upgrads for Audis. Upgrade the internals on the 1.8t engine and you can push as much HP as you want.
It's not a new technology - they are adding Garrett turbos with MBC's, fuel management, software tuning, and intercoolers.

We can already to this to our cars. STS simply is adding the possibility to N/A engines.

Uhhh, if you want a turbo buy a 1.8T. The T stands for turbo.

Ummm.......that is by FAR the worst idea i have seen in a very long time

If anybody thinks this thing will create ANY boost you should just go die in a fire right now!!

How the hell do they think just the FLOW of exhaust is gonna spin the turbine?

HEAT is what makes a turbo spin faster not just the flow

heat is the biggest waste of energy of combustion engines. And the heat is not what makes the turbo flow you dumbass, it is the exhaust gases flowing from the head through the manifold through the turbing housing of the turbo to the exhaust. Heat just helps you lose power.
