no, you should be able to get it. try sliding it forward and pushing it back a few times. That may loosen up dirt and crap that can get stuck in the tracks. Mine was stuffed with sand from the winter roads, and I don't know how the **** it got all up in there. Once you can easily slide it forwards and backwards about an inch, then start yanking it up and down from the ends of the sides right in front of the front tires. (one side at a time...) and put an old blanket down in front of it, so if the bumper falls forward, it won't get scratched up. And yeah, I thought that I was gonna break mine too, but it will eventually pop off.

 

k well it slides forward and back bout an inch really easily. how are the tracks connecting to the bumper? my bumper doesn't really wana move up and down

Id love to give ya some input I'm just waiting for the conclusion so when I get my RS4 bumper I know what to do! LOL

 

finally, its off. now that i can see the clips that were holding it in, it's so much easier to remove it. you gotta push down to clear the top 2 clips, then you pull it outwards to pull it out of the clips, then finally up to get it out of the bottom clip. takes all of 20 seconds now lol
