Removing woodtrim on A4 B6

Default Removing woodtrim on A4 B6

the interior section has little success on getting this question answered
so i am giving it a shot over here
did anybody ever get the courage to remove the woodtrim
doors , dash , shifter , ashtray

sorry if it was answered before but i searched around but did not found anything usefull

Doors is easy enough... pop the door skins off, and work at the clips that hold on. They are bastards, but you get the hang of it... I used 2 pairs of needle nosed pliers.

If the same clips are used on the dash... then I wouldn't even attempt it.

You'll get some useful hits if you search the B6 forum at audiworld.

I understand your motivation - the wood trim was mandatory on the 3.0, which completely eliminated that model as a possibility for me. As dumb luck would have it, I ended up with the 1.8T instead and and glad for it!
