Default replaced coolant senor..many qs?

i went on a 5 to 10 min drive and the temp barley went up ( though its 35 degress out). When i took the sensor out to replace solalnt gushd allover the place, do i need to bleed the system to get air out from the coolant. Also im under the min mark on coolant, but no light have come one and there is still enough to cover the hose connect to the tank, is this still bad?

you dont need to bleed the system unless your replacing all the coolant. and if the coolant is under the min mark fill it up with distilled water water or g12 until it hits the max mark. running it under that will cause it to heat up faster

Depends on the exterior temp and how hard your driving the engine, it should take around 5 minutes of normal driving time to heat up.

Its fine dude, its damn cold where you are. If its not going over the center mark then the thermostat isn't messing up and the water pump is working fine.
Our heater cores run coolant through them at all times which makes it heat up longer than lets say a chevy so maybe thats what your used to?

Heh, if I idled in traffic for 10 minutes or so, in the winter weather we've got here (20-30 degrees out), the needle would get most of the way to hot. Give me five minutes on the highway at speed after that and mine'll be right back down near the cold peg.
